Youth Participation Events
Event 1: Debate in Thessaloniki, Greece
Title: Youth Participation: From Preparation to Active Social Agents in Europe
This debate will gather 80 participants in Thessaloniki, Greece, focusing on developing a stronger culture of dialogue among youth members of European society. The aim is to influence EU political and social leadership by engaging decision-makers based on the priorities established by the EU Youth Dialogue perspective.

How young people choose to get active in the EU decision-making domain
How youth voices can be heard from the local to the European and transnational level
How Europe can centralize and unify policies to improve youth engagement
Sharing holistic knowledge between youth representations and networks across Europe to amplify their voice in the decision-making process
Event 2: Workshop in Italy
Title: Increasing Youth Political Participation
This workshop will host 40 participants in Italy, focusing on the need to amplify youth political and active participation. The event aims to create a youth space for activity in Europe (#YouthGoal9) and systematically solicit input from youth groups on how to spur youth participation in Europe’s active life.
